Minced Beef and Onions Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb minced beef
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 2 beef stick cubes
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 2 pcs pie crust/pastry
  • 1 egg

Instructions
 

  • Fry onions in wok with butter and 2 tbsp oil for about 4 minutes. Add Italian seasoning,
  • Mix 1 cup broth with beef and chicken stock cubes and hot water
  • Add beef to the wok with the onions. Use a potato masher to mash the beef.
  • Add flour and mix well
  • Pour broth into the wok and mix until uniform consistency. Remove from heat and let beef cool.
  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F
  • Line a pie tray with 1 pie pastry. Add the cooled beef into the tray and cover it with the second pie pastry.
  • Cut slots on top of the curst for ventilation. Brush top of pie with egg wash.
  • Bake in pre-heated oven at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes
