Bread Pudding

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf of bread
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups half & half
  • 1 ¼ stick butter.
  • ½ cup liquor
  • ½ raisins
  • ¼ cup nuts
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp molasses.

Instructions
 

  • Cut bread into small pieces and place in large baking dish.
  • Melt 1 stick butter in a mixing large bowl. Add 1 cup sugar, eggs, vanilla, half & half, ¼ cup liquor, mixing constantly to maintain a smoot texture.
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Add bread to bowl to soak completely immersed. Add raisins and nuts, and cinnamon powder. Let it soak for 20 minutes.
  • Pour mixture into baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes.
  • Sauce: Melt 2 tbsp butter in a small bowl. Add ½ cup sugar, corn starch, milk, molasses and ¼ cup liquor. Mix thoroughly
