Cheesy Turkey Chorizo Meatballs Bake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 pk beef chorizo
  • 1 pk HEB creamy parmesan cooking sauce
  • ½ onion minced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup half and half
  • 1-2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup vegetarian meat floss

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, mix turkey, chorizo, onion, grated parmesan, salt, black pepper, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning. Shape mixture into meatballs.
  • In a pan with oil, fry the meatballs about 1-2 minutes per side until lightly browned. Place fried meatballs into a baking dish.
  • In a small pot, mix creamy parmesan cooking sauce with cream cheese and half and half. Mix and bring to boil. Pour sauce all over the meatballs. Sprinkle shredded cheese and vegetarian meat floss over the meatballs.
  • Bake in pre-heated oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes until internal temperature of meatballs >165 degrees F
