Cut bread into small pieces and place in large baking dish.
Melt 1 stick butter in a mixing large bowl. Add 1 cup sugar, eggs, vanilla, half & half, ¼ cup liquor, mixing constantly to maintain a smoot texture.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Add bread to bowl to soak completely immersed. Add raisins and nuts, and cinnamon powder. Let it soak for 20 minutes.
Pour mixture into baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes.
