Season cut chicken with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper and 1 tsp turmeric powder. Leave to marinate for 15 minutes+.
In wok with 2 tbsp butter, fry chicken until cooked. Dish out to set aside without any liquids produced.
In a small bowl make the spice mix with garam masala, cumin, ground ginger, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp turmeric and red pepper flakes.
Add 2 tbsp butter to the wok and fry the onions and garlic. Then add the spice mix, cinnamon stick. Fry for 1-2 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and brown sugar and bring to simmer. Then add the half & half with 1 cup of water and yoghurt. Bring it to simmer.
Add the chicken and 2 tbsp butter and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes
