Cream Cheese Corn Bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 5 tbsp melted butter
- 4 oz cream cheese 1/2 pack
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients together and mix: corn meal, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar.
- Combine all wet ingredients together and mix: milk, egg, butter, cream cheese, vanilla.
- Combine both dry and wet ingredients and fold into uniform mixture.
- Brush butter or oil onto the baking pan.
- Put mixture in the pan.
- Bake in pre-heated oven at 375 degrees F for 35 minutes until dry inside.
