Pepper Steak Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb+ beef
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp cooking wine
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 ½ tsp corn starch
  • 3 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 bell peppers cut
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 stalks spring onion chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cut beef into thin slices and marinate with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp wine, baking soda, 1 ½ tsp corn starch, 1 tbsp black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  • Prepare sauce by mixing: oyster sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, water, 1 tsp corn starch, sugar, 2 tbsp black pepper, 2 tbsp wine.
  • With oil in hot wok with high heat, stir fry the beef until done, stirring and turning constantly. Set aside.
  • Add oil to the wok and fry the onions and garlic for 2 minutes until the color changes. Add the bell peppers and fry for another minute.
  • Add the meat and mix well.
  • Add the sauce and continue frying until the sauce thickens.
  • Add spring onions and mix well. Then turn off heat
