Cream Cheese Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick butter 1/2 cup
  • ½ pk cream cheese 4 oz
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, mix butter, cream cheese and sugar with a hand mixer.
  • Add vanilla and salt.
  • Slowly add and mix the flour and baking soda into the bowl.
  • Place mixed dough onto cling wrap on a work surface.
  • Form the dough into a log shape of about 2 inches diameter. If it is too sticky, sprinkle with flour.
  • Wrap the dough log with cling wrap and smoothen the shape of the dough in the wrap.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour
  • Take the dough out and cut into ¼ to ½ inch disks.
  • Roll each into balls and place them on a wire rack lined with parchment paper in a baking tray.
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F and bake cookie dough for about 16-18 minutes.
  • Take it out and let it cool.
