Marinate chicken with sesame oil, light soy sauce, sugar, egg for 30 minutes
In a small pot mix the lemon juice and honey. Apply heat as necessary to completely dissolve the honey and sauce is well mixed.
Coat marinated chicken thoroughly with cornstarch.
In a wok with sufficient oil for deep frying, heat the oil until it is very hot (>320 deg F). Deep fry the chicken in batches until golden brown – 3-4 minutes per side. Set fried chicken aside. Save the oil for future use.
In the wok, heat 2 tbsp of oil and add the lemon sauce, Let the sauce boil and the honey caramelize for at least 5 minutes.
Add the broth and bring it to boil. Add 2 tsp of cornstarch in slurry form. Let it boil until sauce is thickened
Add the fried chicken, toss and mix it with the sauce. Remove from heat.
