Cream of Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 5 skinless boneless chicken thighs sliced into fillets
  • 8 oz mushrooms washed pat dry and sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 10oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl mix garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, 1 tsp garlic salt, 1 tsp black pepper. Marinate sliced chicken with this spice mix for 15-30 minutes.
  • In a wok with oil over medium high heat, fry chicken for about 5 minutes until completely cooked. Fry in batches if necessary.
  • Remove cooked chicken from wok and add butter into it.
  • Fry the minced garlic for about 30 seconds and then add the mushrooms. Fry for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add white wine to deglaze the pan. Then add can of cream of mushroom and the half and half. Mix well and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Check for taste and add as necessary, 1 tsp garlic salt, 1 tsp black pepper and soy sauce.
  • Add cooked chicken into the wok and mix well. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Sprinkle dried parsley over the dish.
