Homemade Pizza

Equipment

  • 1 Breadmaker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pkt instant yeast (7g)
  • 1 1/4 cup warm water (110-117 deg F)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 can tuna
  • 1 pkt turkey pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 can alfredo pasta sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl combine warm water, yeast, salt and sugar. Leave for about 10 minutes for the yeast to blossom.
  • Pour the yeast water mixture into the Breadmaker. Add flour and start running the Breadmaker on the dough cycle (1.5 hours)
  • Prepare a large bowl by spraying with oil. After the Breadmaker has finished, transfer the dough into the large bowl. Rotate to coat the surface with the oil. Cover with paper towel and leave in room temperature for at least 1 hour.
  • Gently punch out the air in the dough and transfer it to a worksurface covered with flour. Roll the dough to cover the surface with flour so that it is no longer sticky. Divide the dough into two pieces.
  • Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees F
  • With the first piece of dough, roll it into a ball. Press in the center to flatten it. You can now use your hands to work on the dough to flatten and expand it into the pizza size and shape or use a rolling pin.
  • Place the pizza crust on a pizza pan and spread the pasta sauce over the surface generously. Then add any other topping you like e.g., tuna or turkey pepperoni. Finally sprinkle shredded cheese to over the top of the pizza.
  • Repeat the process for the second piece of dough.
  • Bake in the pre-heated over at 450 deg F for 20-25 minutes until crust is browned.
