Tomato Beef Chickpeas Stew
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef
- 2 tbsp steak seasoning
- 1 lb turkey bacon
- 1 can Chickpeas
- 1/2 onion sliced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 bell pepper sliced
- 2 tomato sliced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Cut beef into cubes and marinate with steak seasoning for at least 30 minutes
- Slice turkey bacon into quarters.
- With oil in pressure cooker, fry the beef for about 4-5 minutes.
- Add red wine and bring to boil. Then pressure cook beef for 30 minutes over medium heat.
- Release pressure and add bacon, chickpeas, onion, bell pepper, tomato, ketchup, sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring it to boil and pressure cook for 30 minutes over medium heat.
- Release pressure. Check for taste.
