Cut sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes. Boil with salt and water for about 20 minutes until fork tender.
Stir fry garlic and meat in oiled wok. Add Worcestershire sauce and ketchup.
Stir fry onion in a pan oiled with ½ stick butter until carmelized.
Drain boiled potatoes. Add half & half and boil for 2-3 minutes.
Add half of potatoes into baking dish. Cover it with half of the meat (strain out any liquids). Then half of the onions.
Repeat (6) to layer the ingredients in the baking dish.
Add remaining half & half liquid into the dish. Spread cheese on top of the dish.
Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes
