Drunken Chicken
Ingredients
- 6-8 chicken drumsticks
- 4 cloves garlic sliced
- 1 piece ginger sliced
- ½ onion sliced
- ½ cup white wine
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 8 oz mushrooms sliced
- 2 stalks spring onions sliced
- ½ cup Yeo’s Marinade for drunken chicken. May substitute ¼ cup wine, ¼ cup soy sauce and 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- In hot wok with oil, fry garlic and ginger for 2 minutes.
- Add onions and fry for 1 minute
- Add chicken and fry for 5 minutes (about 2 minutes per side)
- Add Yeo’s Marinade, soy sauce, white wine, sugar, sesame oil. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add mushrooms, cover and simmer for another 15 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken is >165 degrees F.
- Sprinkle spring onions and remove from heat
