Drunken Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1 piece ginger sliced
  • ½ onion sliced
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 2 stalks spring onions sliced
  • ½ cup Yeo’s Marinade for drunken chicken. May substitute ¼ cup wine, ¼ cup soy sauce and 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • In hot wok with oil, fry garlic and ginger for 2 minutes.
  • Add onions and fry for 1 minute
  • Add chicken and fry for 5 minutes (about 2 minutes per side)
  • Add Yeo’s Marinade, soy sauce, white wine, sugar, sesame oil. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add mushrooms, cover and simmer for another 15 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken is >165 degrees F.
  • Sprinkle spring onions and remove from heat
