Wine-Braised Honey Beef Ribs
Ingredients
- 3 lb bone-in beef ribs
- 4 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 onion cut
- 4 stalks celery cut
- 3 carrots cut
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sweet soy sauce
Instructions
- Mix dry rub in a bow: salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder. Season ribs with dry rub. Then coat ribs with flour.
- With oil in the pressure cooker, sauté to brown the ribs on both sides, about 2 minutes each side.
- Set aside ribs and marinate it with honey and sweet soy sauce.
- In the pressure cooker, fry celery, onions, carrots, garlic for 2 minutes. Add broth, wine and 1 cup water and bring to boil.
- Please the ribs on top of the vegetables.
- Pressure cook for 55 minutes.
