In a pan with oil, fry the onions and bacon with black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, salt.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F
In a 9x13in baking dish, layer the cooked rice, then add can chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, butter pieces, onion/bacon, peas and shredded cheese. Mix ingredients uniformly.
Bake in pre-heated oven for 30-40 minutes, stirring mid-point during the baking.
Take out from oven and let it cool before serving
