Add ingredients into a pot and bring to boil: light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, wine, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, star anise, cinnamon, orange peels, five spice powder, bouillon and water.
Add chicken into the pot and let it simmer covered over low heat for 15 minutes.
Turn over the top pieces of chicken (above the broth) and simmer for another 15 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let it soak for 30 minutes.
Remove the chicken and let it rest for 20 minutes in a serving dish before serving. Serve with rice and some broth over the chicken.
